This track was written about a two separate devastatingly hard points in my life.
1. One of my best friends committed suicide. He kept reaching out for help, and I kept postponing hanging out with him; I didn't realize how dark of a place he was in till it was too late. I got a call one morning from his brother and he told me my friend was gone. For years I blamed myself thinking if I would've spent more time with him, or if I wouldn't of been so consumed by my life I could've helped him and he still would be alive. This song is about letting go of the past and moving on to tomorrow.

2. I was in a bad relationship that took me away from my family, friends and even distanced me from God. I ended the relationship to get back what was important to me. This song is also about leaving deadweight behind and moving on to what God intended me to have.
